In the spring of 2023, Gogo Beep! was created as the subject for a semester long junior thesis project. Up to this point, most portfolio work had been two-dimensional pieces, so this first long-term, self-directed project was to be focused on creating a toy. The KCAI Illustration Grant was awarded for this project, which allowed for exploration of the possibilities of digitizing original embroidery designs. This project was full of trials and errors, new discoveries, and challenges. When Gogo was completed in May 2023, after four months of hard work, Zso was confident in continuing creating toys on a professional level.
